aura

As much as I hate everything Windows 11 is, and stands for, I unfortunately recognize that Windows 10 will be dying in 6 months time.

Whilst I believe Windows 10 should've stayed "the last windows", that was never going to happen, let's be real now.

So, when that "Update to Windows 11" icon popped in my taskbar whilst booting up my PC today, I settled that now is the time.

I don't quite like how Windows 11's design language looks, the Fluent UI. Something about it feels blurry. I had the same feeling when I first installed Windows 11 on release day, all those years ago. The computer felt blurry.

I hope that Microsoft focuses their time and money on making Windows 11 work better, faster and prettier. However, they seem to be more interested in making Windows Recall (a privacy intrusive feature), Windows CoPilot/CoPilot+ which is just more AI Slop and making Windows look like Mac OS X.

So, I'm going to go to school now in, what, 10 minutes? Then we'll see if Windows 11 installed well, if all my apps work well.. Unfortunately now that I think about it, my AIM Client will probably stop working, as it has on my friend's Windows 11 PC. Client version 7.0.12.2, for some reason doesn't work well on Windows 11. But - who knows. Maybe, just maybe I'll have a good time.
