aura

I really liked Xbox when I was younger. Was this potentially related to me owning an Xbox 360 since 2014? Causation is not correlation, so uuuuh idk. Anyway, I'm here to say things I loved to play on Xbox ages ago.

EARLY DAYS (Pre-2016):
When I was starting off with the Xbox, my most-played games were all family-friendly games. Crash Bandicoot with mindcontrol (I can never remember the name), Cars 2, Pid (cinema), Pac-Man for some reason - but most of all MINECRAFT. Something that was odd in hindsight, I had a really outdated version, even for the time. It didn't even have Creative, nor a hungerbar! But, then, December 2015..

KINECT DAYS (2016-2017):
On the first day of New Year's my family gave me: 1 kinect aaaaand one (more) controller too! I honestly loved playing the Kinect. Kinect Sports is a blast, but it is so evident in hindsight that it wasn't meant for the snug European home, and rather the American large spaces. So at best we could be jumping on the bed. Funny thing, that's how I broke the bed one time. We fixed it with a few screws however. But I neglected to mention what dad asked the person who sold us the console to install, dad had his own wishlist of games. So, in around 2018..

HARDCORE DAYS (2017-2020):
Not really hardcore, but I started playing the less kid friendly games on the Xbox 360, like Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed (idk which), Tomb Raider 2013, 1942 (a plane game), Deadlight and a few others. I felt like I was the shit playing those games, because bang bang shoot shoot. However in May 2020, for my 11th birthday..

DESOLATE DAYS (2020-2021):
I got a PC as a gift, which was super awesome! I wouldn't be writing this right now if it weren't for that PC. However this did mean I actually played new games, like Fortnite and Roblox. I was truly an average 11 year old. I did dip my toes into Half-Life 2 and tried to get Garry's Mod but I never got into it really before 2023. I also got into Counter-Strike: GO, which I still love. However, I also realised now with a PC I could put new games onto my Xbox 360..

"JUST GIVE ME MORE" DAYS (2021-2023):
I got into installing games onto Xbox 360. I installed the WHOLE Modern Warfare trilogy (MW3 ON TOP!), and BO1/2, and GHOSTS and.. yeah mostly call of duty, but I also got Guitar Hero, Terraria, and a lot of other games I quite like. However, something was missing, don't know what it could be. And then I was watching old Xbox 360 era videos. I was missing Xbox Live.

LIVE DAYS (2024):
So not too long ago I managed to install XbGuard onto my Xbox and I haven't gotten into a game yet but it's super fun to play. Currently, I am beating the great game, "Family Guy: Back to The Multiverse". It is actually really fun and I wish I'd have saved it for a video, but it wouldn't get clicked I feel. Anyway yeah, I am having fun playing this, and I even got an official Xbox 360 Live Headset to commemorate, and to be able to hear people chatting & vice versa.

To end off:

Xbox 360 was plagued with a ton of issues. But holy shit I love it.

no, I haven't played PS3.
